While conducting a worldwide document search that eventually netted copies of some , documents (and is still underway), the project published Washington’s diaries in six volumes. The correspondence volumes of The Papers of George Washington are divided into chronological series-Colonial, Revolutionary War, Confederation, Presidential, and Retirement.
